DATE 25 – THE FUNNY ONE
Updated: Feb 27, 2020
The tall, Portuguese computer programmer and I have been chatting for a while. I’ve continued to make an effort because he didn’t strike me as the usual techy nerdy type who seem to abound on all online dating sites. He gained brownie points when he suggested that he would like to sort us out a surprise date.
To set some boundaries, I told him that was a great idea but it couldn’t have anything to do with sex, alcohol (I was driving) or dairy (a lactose allergy). When he replied to tell me that I’d messed up his first surprise of ‘couples cow milking’ I was sold on him and having a great night.
We ended up at the Comedy Club in Leicester Square which did turn out to be a riotous evening and I haven’t laughed so much in ages. He was thoroughly charming and we had a great time. He is away for two weeks somewhere in Europe so I’ll have to wait and see what happens there.
The arty guy I went drawing with should be back from his creative Scottish sojourn soon. He did actually send me some nice pictures of Glasgow while he was away so here’s hoping for that second date.
