The night before the Gap Year

Climate change, mad politicians and ageing ovaries have created an urgent feeling to see the world one last time before settling down.
Work has given me a sabbatical for a year although I’ll still be working part-time remotely which will give The Boyfriend a respite from me one day a week.
We leave tomorrow. We’ve had 6 weeks to rent the flat out, plan our round-the-world trip and pack.
So far, we have rented the flat (with no great thanks to the useless estate agents). I’m going to pack tonight. The planning can wait #freespiritwannabe
